Greenberg Hathway Macmillan takes instructions from one office in Somerset West, for immigration, government documents, and legal consulting for businesses and individuals.
Who we are
Immigration is the core of our work: South African visas, permits and citizenship, with outbound files for China, the United States, Ireland, the Netherlands and Lithuania beside it. Legal consulting for companies and individuals, and a government-documents desk, complete what we do.
We prepare the papers, lodge them where the law requires, and keep you informed. You need not know the category before you write: we read the facts and place the work in the right process.
Our mission
Navigating immigration policy and procedure in South Africa can seem overwhelming when you do not know what is required. Many advisers offer essentially the same thing — guidance through a visa process. We aim to be different.
We know the Immigration Act, its regulations and the Department’s procedures, and we tell you plainly what is needed. We also help with the side issues that come with living in a new country — obtaining the documents to marry in South Africa, to buy property or to open a bank account.
Our mission is to assist clients through the entire immigration process with tailored solutions, careful client care and a professional service. We are transparent about our process, so you know what is happening on your matter.
How an instruction proceeds
Write with the facts: who you are, what you need, and which papers you already hold. We tell you what the statute and the department will require, what we will do, and what you must still obtain.
A visa or permit is prepared, lodged and followed. Consulting work is advice and drafting on instruction. A document is obtained, verified and apostilled. Clients can follow progress through our secure client portal.
